Vicky Patrick

Vicky Patrick, age 68, passed away peacefully on June 24, 2026. She was born on June 11, 1958, in Henryetta, Oklahoma to Jack Edward Patrick and Ruth Ellen Rhoades Patrick. Raised in Oklahoma, Vicky attended Grant High School before beginning a successful career in industrial manufacturing, where she dedicated many years of hard work, professionalism, and commitment.

Vicky was a woman of remarkable creativity and talent. She had a gift for crafting and could recreate almost anything simply by looking at a picture. Whether drawing, painting, or creating handmade treasures, her artistic abilities brought joy and inspiration to those around her. She possessed an incredible eye for detail and a natural talent that made every project she touched truly special.

A devoted animal lover, Vicky had a special connection with dogs. Family and friends often referred to her as a "dog whisperer" because of her unique ability and love for dogs. Her patience, compassion, and gentle spirit made her a trusted companion to both people and animals alike.

Vicky was also a passionate fan of the Oklahoma Sooners. She especially enjoyed the friendly rivalry she shared with her daughter, a dedicated Texas Longhorns fan. Their playful banter created countless memories and brought laughter to family gatherings for many years.

Above all, Vicky will be remembered for her strength, kindness, creativity, sense of humor, and unwavering love for her family. She had a generous heart and a willingness to help others whenever she could. She faced many health battles throughout her life and her strength would shine through it all. Her warmth, wisdom, and ability to make people feel welcome left a lasting impact on everyone fortunate enough to know her. The memories she created, the lessons she shared, and the love she gave so freely will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved her.

Vicky was preceded in death by her son, Eric Patrick; her father, Jack Patrick and his wife Dorothea Patrick; her brother, Bryan Patrick.

She is survived by her loving mother, Ruth Baker; her daughter, Ashley Ross Kent and husband Wayne Kent; her sister, Jacki Russell; her brothers, Larry Patrick and Roy "Chopper" Staats; Stepsisters Naomi Daugherty and Peggy Peake; her granddaughter, Maddisyn Kent; her grandsons, Steven Patrick and wife Vivianna Patrick, Dylan Patrick, and Austin Kent; her great-granddaughter Harper Patrick; and numerous extended family members and friends who will cherish her memory forever.
