Scott Moore

Scott Keith Moore, age 62, passed away Tuesday, March 31, 2026 in Tyler, Texas. Scott was born April 3, 1963 in Furth, Germany, to Ronald and Donna JoAnne Moore. He married the love of his life, Janet Lee Moore in November of 1990 in Houston, Texas. Scott was raised in Furth, Germany before moving to the United States where he moved numerous times due to him being in a military family. He enlisted in the Navy and became an Operations Specialist aboard the USS Blue Ridge, where he was stationed in Yokosuka, Japan. After the Navy he was employed in the aviation industry for thirty-plus years.

He enjoyed being at the softball fields, watching his daughter Hannah Moore play the game they both loved. If he wasn't at the softball fields, he was busy traveling the world or out fishing with friends and family. Scott was known for his sense of humor, and brought laughter to every room he entered.

Scott was preceded in death by his father, Ronald Moore; mother, Donna Moore; and sister, Sherry Ensinger.

He is survived by his wife, Janet Moore; daughter, Hannah Moore; aunt, Judy Anderson; and many nieces and nephews.
