Rickey Rankin, age 73, of Tyler, Texas, passed away Thursday, February 12, 2026 at Colonial Nursing Home in Lindale, Texas. He was born February 10, 1953 in Olton, Texas, to Max and Bennie Jean Rankin. Rickey was raised in Bridgeport, Texas and had been employed as a Truck Driver at Womack Trucking.

He enjoyed fishing, coaching little league and wrestling, as well as singing Waylon Jennings and playing his guitar. Rickey was known for making people laugh and having a charming personality.

Rickey was preceded in death by parents, Max and Bennie Rankin; his son, Randall Rankin and his wife, Sandy Rankin; brother-in-law, George Robinson; and a brother who passed at birth, Terry Max Rankin.

He is survived by sisters, Jeanie Robinson and Diana Jenkins, and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Graveside Service will be 3:00 PM, Tuesday, February 17, 2026 at Harris Creek Cemetery, North of Tyler, Texas towards Winona. Family members will be speaking about memories of Rickey.

Rickey, "Uncle Bo", will be greatly missed until we meet again.
