Nancy Marie Porter

Nancy Marie Porter passed away from natural causes Friday, January 16, 2026 in Tyler, Texas at the age of 59.

Nancy was born October 7, 1966 in Ocean Side, California to Robert Michael and Beverly Elizabeth (Gold) Rosser.

Nancy loved her plants, her friends, and she absolutely adored her dog, Lady. Above all else, she loved her children beyond measure. She lived a hard life, one that required strength, grit, and resilience, and she was a true fighter and survivor-always coming out swinging no matter what she faced. Nancy found joy in making jean blankets and in simply being there for her kids. In recent years, she was healing and trying to mend bridges, showing growth and softness that reflected the depth of her heart. Though she could be rough around the edges, she had a way of smoothing out with time, love, and understanding. Nancy was always there for others, even when they were not there for her, and that unwavering loyalty and care is how she will be remembered. She leaves behind a love that was fierce, imperfect, and unconditional, and a legacy of strength that will live on through her children.

Nancy was preceded in death by her Mother, Beverly Elizabeth Rosser; Father, Robert Michael Rosser and her son, Airik Rosser.

She is survived by her daughters, Taliena Abner and Kristen Garner; her sons, Marc Hayes and Chad Hayes and 5 grandchildren.
