Larry Ronald Wilson

Larry Ronald Wilson, 71, of Quitman, Texas, passed away peacefully at home on December 21, 2025. He was born on July 20, 1954, in Batesville, Indiana, to Eugene and Juanita (Gabbard) Wilson.

Larry honorably served his country in the United States Army. He devoted most of his life to his craft as a carpenter, building a legacy through his skilled workmanship and dedication to his trade.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Juanita Wilson; his stepmother, Ruth (French) Wilson; his brother, Mike Wilson; his daughters, April (Wilson) Erlywein and Christina Rose; his brother-in-law, Mack Grissell; his in-laws, Donald and Neva (Campbell) Raney; his brothers-in-law, Donald Raney Jr. and David Raney; and his nephew-in-law, Shaun Raney.

Larry will be profoundly missed by his wife of 26 years, Donna (Raney) Wilson; his stepsons, Alan Phipps and Justin Seay; his son, Jeremy Wilson, and daughter-in-law, Chelsea Wilson, of Connersville, Indiana; his daughter, Juanita Wilson, and her four sons; his sister, Melody (Wilson) Abrams, and her husband, Jon Abrams; his nephew, Jon Abrams Jr., his wife, Mindy, and their five children; his sister, Vickie (Abrams) Grissell; his nephew, Tommy Wilson; 10 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.
