She enjoyed spending time outside listening to music and reading. She loved to fish and always seemed to catch the biggest fish of the day. Although, she wasn't born in Canada, she spent so much of her youth there and would visit friends and relatives there frequently throughout the years. She lived in St. Marys, Pennsylvania, for over 30 years and moved to Texas in 1989. She loved spending time with her four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Her name, Glow, signifies radiance, softness, and warmth. It evokes positive imagery, such as a steady light or a vibrant, energetic personality. This definition encompasses her and it is what everyone thinks when meeting her.
Glow was preceded in death by her parents Everett and Jessie LaClair, her brother Paul, and her sister Ruthie.
She is survived by her husband, Donn; two children, Tammy and Jackie; and her sister, Bonnie.
