Betty Snyder

Memorial Service for Betty Snyder, 94, of Tyler, Texas will be held 10:30 AM, Wednesday, February 18, 2026 at Southern Oaks Baptist Church, 601 E. Amherst Dr., Tyler, Texas 75701 with Pastor Tony Garrett officiating.

Betty passed away on Wednesday, February 11, 2026 at her home in Tyler. She was born August 5, 1931 to Frank and Lottie Mae Casper.

She was raised in Jacksonville, Texas. She held the position of Letter Carrier with United States Postal Service. Betty was a member of Southern Oaks Baptist Church.

She enjoyed playing Mahjong and Bump, traveling, taking trips with her friends and snuggling with her cat, Basil. She was a wife, mother, sister, aunt; but her favorite title of all, was Mimi.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Lottie Casper; husband, Bill Snyder; sons, Mike and Ronnie Snyder; six brothers and two sisters.

She is survived by her loving family including daughters, Paula Lunsford, Diane Gilbert and husband, Rod; grandchildren, Lindsey Lunsford and CJ Robinson, Logan Lunsford, Colby and wife, Jessica Worley, Ben and wife, Amber Worley; great-grandchildren, Hudson, Sawyer and Grant Worley, Jameson Worley; and numerous nieces and nephews.
