Laura Rusch

Beatrice "Laura" Rusch, age 56, passed away on August 1, 2026, in Tyler, Texas. Laura was born on January 8, 1970, in Rahway, New Jersey to Samuel Robert Boublis and Beatrice Lilian Lackenaure Boublis. Laura was raised in Westfield, New Jersey graduated from Westfield High School in 1988 and then received her Bachelors degree at Montclair State College. She married the love of her life, Michael John Rusch, July 15, 2000, Mike & Laura had recently celebrated their 26th Wedding Anniversary.

Laura enjoyed arts & crafts, that included the making of jewelry, knitting, and crocheting gifts for friends and family. Laura was active member at First Baptist Church Tyler in the Choir and TFAC. Laura's gift was the gift of giving. Laura enjoyed outdoor activities with her family along with cooking and baking. Laura was employed at The Granary in Tyler, TX, where she grew her extended work family.

Laura was preceded in death by her parents Samuel Robert Boublis and Beatrice Lillian Boublis.

Laura is survived by her husband, Michael John Rusch; and daughter Kimberly Elizabeth Rusch.

Visitation will be held at 1:30 PM on Monday, August 17, 2026, at First Baptist Church Tyler, 301 W Ferguson St., Tyler, Texas 75702, under the direction of Brosang Family Funeral & Cremation Services.

Celebration of Life Service will be at 2:30 PM on Monday, August 17, 2026, at First Baptist Church Tyler, with Reverend Pike Wisner officiating. Pallbearers will be Luke Porter, Andy Parker, Cayln Clay, Shannon Smith, John Garrison, Chris Roberts, Richard Davis, Bobby Roopchand. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Don Cook, Luke Swinnea, John Campbell, Ed Portier, David Mills, Josh Moczygemba, Richard dews, Mark Craig

Private family burial will follow at Kendrick Cemetery.
