Adrian Sue Thompson, age 8, passed away on Thursday, April 16, 2026. She was born on December 20, 2017 in Johnson, Arkansas to loving parents Gregory Joseph Sher and Anna Elizabeth Thompson.
She was happily involved in extracurricular activities like jazz and ballet at Integrity Dance Studio, piano lessons with Miss Cyndi, and swim lessons every summer in Lindale. She enjoyed playing Minecraft, coloring or creating any sort of art, cooking, organizing, cleaning, and playing with her friends. She especially looked forward to her summer visits in Arkansas with her Bumpy and GiGi, and couldn't wait to attend the majorette twirling camp at Lindale High School this summer. Adrian was expressive, fun, and always ready for an adventure. She lived authentically, embracing every moment to the fullest. She was honest in a gentle way, deeply empathetic, and found great joy in sharing with or giving gifts to those she loved. She was inquisitive and thoughtful, always analyzing the world around her and constantly asking questions. She thoroughly enjoyed being a big sister and helping out with her baby brother. Adrian was a strong Christian and a member at Bethel Bible Church at the downtown Tyler campus.
Adrian was preceded in death by her grandfather, David Sher; great-grandmother, Paula Sher; and great-grandfather, Sherrod B. Thompson.
She is survived by her father, Gregory Joseph Sher; mother, Anna Elizabeth Thompson; baby brother, Arnold Thompson; great-grandfather, Shaul Sher; grandmother, Donna (Greg) Guidry; uncle, Tony (Carmen) Sher; grandmother, Leanne (Andrew) Urban; great-grandmother, Helen Pyatt; great-grandfather, Bob Pyatt; great-uncle, Brent (Tamara) Pyatt; great-grandmother, Judy Thompson; grandfather, Fred B.
